【Rational】Mainland Chinese Pregnant Women: “Hong Kong Nurses are Bi*ches!”
My aunt is a janitor in Nethersole Hospital. She is a kind and talkative person, therefore doctors and nurses don’t look down on her and they sometimes even share unpleasant stories in their works with her.
Tai Po Nethersole Hospital don’t have maternity ward. However, it does not lack the “support” of Mainland Chinese pregnant women. I do not want to talk about stories of how they rushed to the emergency ward, which is the hottest story for the media right now. I want to tell rarely known stories behind the emergency ward.
Babies who were born in the emergency room would be placed in the same hospital, and all the postnatal checkups would be carried out by the same hospital too. Therefore, Mainland pregnant women organized themselves into a big group. They entered baby ward daily and became frequenters of Nethersole Hospital. There were always a group of five to six Mainland women in the baby ward, who constantly did not bring the needed diapers and infant formulae, pressing the emergency botton and yelling at our respected medical staffs. One day, a Mainland Chinese woman pressed the emergency button while a nurse was busy handling documents, she then badmouthed the nurse for not immediately serving them “noble Mainland Chinese”. The tone she used is worse than the yelling towards a dog. Other Mainland Chinese women saw it and praised her pal loudly, “Yes! They are bi*ches who require constant insults.”
Another day, a Mainland Chinese woman insulted her doctor as if she were his owner simply because she thought her prescription was not right. She said, “Well, in Mainland hospitals, doctors would give us antibiotics. What kind of medicine are you prescribing? We are your patients. We are giving you business deals!” (because the wording was too vulgar, I chose not to write them down.)
My aunt asked the doctor why he did not refute her, he shook his head and sighed, “it’s useless. I do not want to have arguments with uncivilized people and bring trouble to myself.” In fact, it is helpless. Doctors are helpless. Nurses are helpless. Patients are helpless. We Hong Kong are helpless.
Thinking back to SARS in 2003, our Hong Kong medical staffs stood up bravely in the front line. Everyone fought against the unknown virus courageously. Every doctor and nurse took great care of us. They are the heroes and heroines of Hongkonger. Now, they are treated like animals by Mainlander. I, as a listener, feel heartbroken for our medical staffs.

Comments from Facebook
Chan: Grant their wishes. Proscribing more antibiotics until they develop antimicrobial resistance. They will get a taste their own medicine.
Ng: I worked in hospital and encountered similar cases. Besides doctors and nurses, other hospital staffs share the same experience.
Cheng: As an outsider, I can’t tolerate it. Why don’t these medical staffs speak up?
頭: I also don’t understand why they can tolerate it.
Li: Give them arsenic…They are scums.
Car: Medical staffs are the angels of Hongkonger.
Tang: Those double negatives are bi*ches themselves.
Sin: Tolerance don’t apply to this group.
Lam: They are scums.
Ng: Tolerance, tolerance means a guarantee to be dissolved. (*”Tolerance” in Cantonese is homophonous to “dissolve”, which can mean “to be killed”.) This is like mixing instant milk powder. You didn’t even know when you were killed.
Mak: This is called permissive. However, HKSAR government can call this tolerance. They just want to train Hongkonger to be indifferent to this so that we won’t resist.
Choy: I feel so sad that I want to cry. However, is this useful? Will people help these medical staffs to get their deserved respect?
Loki: Will there be someone who dare to enter the hell and kill all these bastards?
Au: This has gone too far! They are driving us to madness!
Pui: So sad…
Ho: F*** off Mainlander! F***! F***…This is f***ing ridiculous. Hong Kong is going to be died because these uncivilised people are allowed to have children in here. Being rich is still f***ing useless when you are not civilised.
葉: Why did you still give birth in here when Hongkonger are bi*ches? Scums. It is right to say that the root of Chinese is bad.
I have friends who are doctors in Hong Kong, and have spent half their life since the Sichuan earthquake training village doctors in Sichuan how to treat prosthetic patients. Quite simply, the mainland do not have the expertise to deal with this situation on such a massive scale, so the HK doctors once again stepped forward.
It saddens me to think my friends are probably treated the same way when they travel to the mainland for two weeks every month. Possibly worse, considering they are highly trained female HK doctors.
What I cannot comprehend is the lack of will to change on the HK government’s part. Seriously, HK supposed to enjoy 50 years of autonomy after 1997. With all these resentment towards Mainlanders brewing among citizens, why the government still turn a blind eye? With the hospital situation, I personally think that they should provide the care to those who “rush the gate” at a premium price with no residency privilege to the children. That will pretty much stop the trend.
Except the government is deliberately staging this to happen. They made clear they WANT mainlanders to come in and ‘revitalise’ the Hong Kong economy, they WANT mainlanders to come and go in HK as they please, they are just playing out what the mainland wants: the complete and utter integration of Hong Kong into the mainland system.
HK government can’t do a thing; Chinese government’s pulling the strings 😦
As an outsider, I could not help but feel frustrated at the lack of protection these doctors and nurses are getting from the hospital authorities. Surely if the government can’t do anything, the hospital can! Stop treating these f**kers!!!! Stand up for your f**king rights people!!!!
This is outrageous. The doctors and nurses are already forced to treat you, the least you could do is be polite. If you’re going to disrespect someone, at least do it where no one will hear you… say.. CHINA. Get out of Hong Kong. You don’t go to a country, ‘suddenly’ need to go to labour, and the people there at that foreign country help you, and when you need help again, they come maybe a second, or max three late, and you insult them and applaud others in doing so… Lower than animals. They can be tamed, you cannot – you shameless locusts!!
On another note, I feel the word “bitches” does not fully translate the original meaning. i know the online dictionary gives bitch for the word “賤貨”, but at least in North America, you use bitches to describe someone who are mean and arrogant etc. So the mainland mother would be the bitch, not the nurses. I was thinking perhaps “worthless piece of dirt” is more accurate. Perhaps it’s different in UK or other English speaking countries. Anyone care to comment?
As an outsider, F*ck the mainlanders, they are not happy with the service? then CHINA DUDES, GET THE FUCK OUT OF HONG KONG, YOU ARE NOT WELCOMED AND DONT COME BACK UNLESS YOU FIX YOUR BARBARIC BEHAVIOR
